Best years

I worked at Tyumen Teacher Training Institute from 1984 to 1996. These were the years of greatest creativity. We worked with pedagogical teams of all regions of the south of the region and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district.

In this regard with the reform of school education, alternative textbooks appeared. The author's teams, with the help of methodologists, tried to bring their ideas to every teacher in Russia. To this end, methodologists from all regions were gathered in Moscow, in the Central Teacher Training Institue. There was an exchange of experience throughout the whole country.

Our institute invited teachers of mathematics of Leningrad school No. 526 A.A. Okunev, teachers from Ufa M.I. Tsekhov, who conducted courses with teachers of mathematics of our region. Coming to district schools, we saw that teachers use 15 different beginnings of the lesson of Anatoly Arsentievich Okunev, a way to solve the trigonometric equations of M.I. Tsekhov, some of the 75 ways to solve the problems of Roman Grigorievich Khazankin from Beloretsk of the Bashkir Republic. And this means that the meetings that we held to improve the methodological level of teachers of the Tyumen region did not go for nothing.

The author of the textbook of geometry, which mathematics teachers preferred to all other guides in this discipline, L.S. Atanasyan, an academician living in Paris and working at UNESCO, came to Tyumen and taught teachers of all schools in the region.

The exchange of best practices took place at all levels: at school, in the district, in the region, in the republic.

From 1990 to 2005, at the departments of Tyumen Regional Institute and TOGIRRO, 3,573 teachers of mathematics improved their qualifications.

In the last years of my work at the institute, I headed the "Laboratory of Level Differentiation." They learned to determine the level of learning and the level of learning of each student. Depending on this, the goals and content of the training were "bred" so that each student learned the topic in accordance with their level of development.

These were the most interesting twelve years of my pedagogical activity.
